“We lived in this hotel on 4th july. It was a terriable experience.There were bugs in that room.In the morning my wife saw the bug which climbed to her arm.she got bitten in arm,chest,leg and waist.it was bloody.we asked half of the price back.but they refused.It is totally low and respectless. It was noisy outside.The room smelled moldy and strange.the carpet and toilet were dirty.We darenot speak in the room.because we can hear clearly the couple speaking in another room.There was no breakfast...

“The owners, Paul and Kate go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I rarely write reviews, but looked forward to sharing about The Ivy House. The room we stayed in was well stocked with fresh water, tea, and hot chocolate. The bed was very comfortable and I have a fussy back. The shower was modern. You can order your breakfast the night before and eat it in an extraordinarily well decorated dining room. A most pleasant stay.”

“Very welcoming reception from the host. We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic cooked breakfast each morning. My wife is coeliac and was well catered for. This B&B is ideally suited for the city centre, has close transport links and also provides on-street parking. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. ”
