“Set in a beautiful village this accomodation stands out withbits exterior decor. Parking is a short walk away and not onsite but this isnt gar and not a problem. We were greeted by a wonderful ladybwhonwas full of smiles, verybfriendly and appeared tonreally enjoy her job. She showed us to our room and left us to unpack. The room was big enougb fornthe 2 of us and had a good sized ensuite shower room. The rooms facilities were excellent. Smart tv, wifif and smart heating as well as a kettle...

“Very welcoming reception from the host. We stayed for two nights and had a fantastic cooked breakfast each morning. My wife is coeliac and was well catered for. This B&B is ideally suited for the city centre, has close transport links and also provides on-street parking. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. ”

“We lived in this hotel on 4th july. It was a terriable experience.There were bugs in that room.In the morning my wife saw the bug which climbed to her arm.she got bitten in arm,chest,leg and waist.it was bloody.we asked half of the price back.but they refused.It is totally low and respectless. It was noisy outside.The room smelled moldy and strange.the carpet and toilet were dirty.We darenot speak in the room.because we can hear clearly the couple speaking in another room.There was no breakfast...

“The property was well located within walking distance to the lake at Bowness. The room was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The free breakfast was excellent with the best choice we had ever seen. The staff were amazing, being so attentive and engaging.”

“This guest house is very well run. The manager is obviously very keen to ensure that his guests have an enjoyable stay. The room we stayed in was large, clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order, but also cereals and continental breakfast available too. The guesthouse is convenient for Windermere centre, approx 5 minutes walk to the bars and restaurants, but in a quieter back road. ”

“Great stay. Lovely room which was quite small but the balcony made up for it. The breakfast was great every day. Location wise is was an easy walk to either Windermere or Bowness. Would recommend.”
