“This was a perfect place to stay. So special, unique, and peaceful. Wonderful location not too far from downtown. The breakfast was delicious. The margarita machine was always such a treat to come back to at night. It was fun playing pool to wind down. Wifi worked perfectly. The management/ staff were very nice and extremely responsive. Rooms and common areas were furnished beautifully. You can tell someone's heart and soul went into making this hotel.I will be coming back!”

“A little piece of paradise— A vacation within our vacation. Close to everything we wanted to do and see. Our host, Mackenzie, was beyond amazing and so accommodating. (And we loved our breakfast and coffee waiting for us in the mornings) We enjoyed every second of our stay and are making plans to return next year. Can’t recommend Dakota Dream enough!”

We arrived and we were greeted by Deb as we were checking the place out before we went to look for our room. Very sweet lady! “The Pondside Lodge was a splendid place to stay for our trip to South Dakota! The lodge is beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The living room picture window looks out over the pond and the Needles are clearly visible in the distance. It is a very relaxing location - quiet and lovely.
