“En fantastisk miljö på detta boende. Tyst och skönt och man hör bara alla ljud från regnskogen. Vi satt ofta med öppna altandörrar, i fotöljerna, och bara njöt. Rummen var trevliga och rymliga och hade det mesta som behövdes. Det som saknas mest på Hotellet är engagerad och gästvänlig personal. Personalen är inte intrsserad av gästerna och bjuder inte på något exra i sitt bemötande. Vi bodde här i 4 nätter och hade samma upplevelse hela tiden. Dock ska nämnas att i restaurangen arbetar en tysk...

“Fantastic accommodation deep in the world’s oldest rainforest. 7 secluded cabins reached by boardwalks. Bathroom with a glass wall facing the forest. Comfortable, well kept rooms. Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, nice food. Very nice staff. Cassowaries and feral pigs in the immediate vicinity. Frogs and toads croaking through the night. A truly magical place to be!”

“If you’ve come to Daintree to explore the rainforest, this is the place to be. A stomes throw away from one of the boardwalk rainforest walks, and short driving distance to several others you are in the middle of it. The room had no AC, but a fan which sufficed. The toilets/showers in the common areas, a short walk from the “room”/house/hut were clean and in reasonable shape. This was truely a great accommodation.”

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....
