“Fantastic accommodation deep in the world’s oldest rainforest. 7 secluded cabins reached by boardwalks. Bathroom with a glass wall facing the forest. Comfortable, well kept rooms. Restaurant serving breakfast and dinner, nice food. Very nice staff. Cassowaries and feral pigs in the immediate vicinity. Frogs and toads croaking through the night. A truly magical place to be!”

“Om man åker till Cape Tribulation ska man inte räkna med något stort hotellutbud eller någon lyx i överflöd. Hotellet har mest backpackers som gäster och stugorna är ganska enkla och lyhörda. Omgivningen är dock helt fantastik eftersom stugorna ligger i regnskogen där den gränsar mot havet. Det finns en restaurang i anslutning till hotellet och maten som serveras där är klart godkänd. Vill man komma till någon annan restaurang måste man gå ganska långt så bil är att behövs nästan. Från...

“If you’ve come to Daintree to explore the rainforest, this is the place to be. A stomes throw away from one of the boardwalk rainforest walks, and short driving distance to several others you are in the middle of it. The room had no AC, but a fan which sufficed. The toilets/showers in the common areas, a short walk from the “room”/house/hut were clean and in reasonable shape.
This was truely a great accommodation.”

“We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....
