This is a beautifully updated home in a very desirable neighborhood close to White Rock Lake in Dallas. The bathrooms are like what you'd find in a luxury hotel. Gabriel is an outstanding host, was easy to communicate with and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

We booked the home for family gathering place for our grandson's 3rd bday. Location was good for us as near our daughter's house. Home has nice layout and rooms are good sized. Trouble was it it seemed new as rental and not really ready. Some examples: description says you can host a bbq or gather outside and says firepit. We thought it odd there were no pictures but turns out there isn't a firepit. In fact, not even a single chair so we couldn't enjoy the nice fall weather like we thought. The kitchen didn't have many standard items like wine opener, strainer for pasta, mixer for bday cake, wine glasses, etc. Luckily my daughter's house is nearby and we could go there and get what we needed. The oven had 2 Domino's boxes with leftover pizza in them. Under stocked on things like towels, glasses, etc. Cheap pillows no one liked, no dressers in bedrooms so had to stack clothes on floor.They did a really good job with the updates and the house is nice. Host had good communication and appologized. I hate to leave a review like this and waited a few weeks to see if the description got updated but it hasn't and I think people need to know the situation. No doubt this will be a great place to stay but it needs attention. Felt like maybe their first short term rental. I suggested they get a property manager or at least get checklists for what to do to get the home ready and I think they will. We will look to stay here again but will want to verify it is ready for prime time.

The neighborhood seemed safe and nice! Very quiet and peaceful. The house was amazing! My mom, sister and I loved the color scheme and design. Spacious and clean. Comfortable sleeping, wonderful showers, lots of natural lighting (which I love). Looked like original hardwood floors. Large backyard. The owner was amazing as well! Prompt attention and helpful. He actually went above and beyond for me on a personal problem I ran into so I can’t rate this experience high enough! Rent here, rent from him! Didn’t take photos but this place is as described if not better IMO :)
