“The guesthouse was nicely decorated, the hosts were super, the breakfast was served hot and fresh, and the location was good with easy access to both Bowness and Windermere. As a guest here one also got access to the spa at another hotel i Bowness, which was a nice bonus on a chilly day.”

“My sister and I spent just a couple of nights here and truly fell in love with the house and staff. Every interaction was easy and kind, the house was incredibly well kept, and the grounds were gorgeous. It's located a bit out of the way which is perfect for minimizing crowds and noise! Our room was perfectly sized and the bed/bedding comfortable. All in all, a 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone in any stage of life.”

“We stayed at Elim House because we attended a wedding in Bowness-on-Windermere. The owner went out of his way to help us park our car around the back, and we generally very welcoming and provided us with local information. The location is perfect for visiting Bowness and the centre is just a short walk away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!”
