“You will be staying in a room that when you step outside you'll feel like you are in the middle of the jungle! The room we stayed in felt very new and clean, the AC worked great and host helped you with any questions you might have. He got us a driver for a elephant safari and both the safari and the driver were excellent. The breakfast is delicious 😋”

“Absolutely perfect. I could not have found a better host anywhere. The room is clean and lovely. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast are just delicious. Mother is a really good cook and I had the best vegetable roll and potato and egg samosa i have tried anywhere. The host made us so welcome and helped us with everything. He did all the hard work for us! The driver is lovely too. I feel privileged to stay here and regret I cannot stay longer”

“Really cute new hotel! The staff was amazing! Due to miscommunication we arrived in another hotel, therefor we arrived late in Serenity. But it was al good and they took good care of us. They don’t have a restaurant, but the staff dien’t hesitate when we asked for some drinks! They went on a motorbike for us, late in the evening, for some drinks for us! So nice! Also, the room was amazing. Really big, nice bed, good working a/c and wifi! Really recommend this hotel! ”

“Great atmosphere, decent room, food was good. As I had an early morning start, they packed a breakfast which was nice. Only downside was the a/c didn’t work very well so the room was too warm and they should upgrade their pillows. They were terrible. ”

“The family that runs this homestay is so incredibly sweet. They don't speak much English, but that's okay. We got by! Danu called me on the phone upon check-in to make sure everything was to my liking. The street it's on is a very local one so there isn't much around, but I had a driver so it was perfectly fine. If you were to walk, I think it would have probably taken 15 or so minutes to the rock along a scenic road :) Danu's mother cooked me the best chicken curry I've ever had! So tasty!!...

“This property is in the middle of nowhere so there it comes the magic. I can’t complain about slow and poor wifi or power issues since this isn’t a hotel but a home stay. The family hosting is among the best people you could ever meet, very attentive with guests and providing an excellent service and serving a tasty land grown food. We really enjoyed our time there, certainly a place to disconnect in the middle of the island ”

“The property is in the lap of nature surrounded by fruiting plants and peacocks. It's an excellent getaway from the hustle of fast-paced city life. The best part was the host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. As we arrived, he plucked fresh passion fruits from his garden and made juice for us. For lunch, he arranged delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food. For dinner, we requested grilled chicken and he arranged that as well at reasonable price. He also arranged a safari driver...

“Nice manager and good room for the money.. Points of attention wifi (signal) and pillows need to be renewed. For the price you can't expect the world, nice accommodation for budget travellers. ”

“Arrived at the hotel to be told that they hadn't finished building it yet and have booked a room at a different hotel near by for us. They said the new hotel was $12 per night more but they would take on that cost and offered us breakfast as an apology which was a very good breakfast. This would have been fine if the hotel they booked had actually been $12 per night more instead of actually turning out to be $18 per night cheaper than we had paid! Feel a bit ripped off. The hotel we ended...

“バスターミナルから近く、便利な場所にあります。ただ、中心地から細い一本道を100メールほどの距離ですが、夜道は灯りがなく、一人で歩くのは怖いです。お庭もあり、雰囲気はいいです。 安さと立地条件を求めるなら、十分だと思います。”
