âLocation of the hotel is great and right on the beach. However if you are looking for a good nights sleep donât book this hotel. The walls are as thin as paper and if your neighbor is having a normal conversation it is like they are in your room, you even hear if they are watching tv. Roomservice starts knocking on the door at 8 in the morning and since it is so noisy all the rooms hear it. â

âWe are in town frequently to visit our daughter in college. I will stay at the Shem Creek Inn every time! Itâs a fabulous location with a wonderful view, clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast options and amenities! You honestly could not ask for a better place to stay! We have never been disappointed â

âI needed a hotel room close enough to the airport after my flight was canceled due to weather conditions. It did the job. Typical American motel. Large room with outdated furniture but brand new TV and bathroom. I was welcome by a cockroach in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness is below average but I've seen worse.â
