“We had a wonderful stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort! The staff were very kind and accommodating — they even allowed us to check out late because our flight was delayed, which we truly appreciated. The view from the top of the mountain is absolutely amazing, especially at sunrise overlooking the Nile river. Since the resort is located uphill, we had to take a tuktuk to go up and down to the village. The ride can be a bit bumpy and dusty, which some people might not enjoy, but it didn’t bother...

“Incredible staff first and foremost. They not only were immensely professional but went above and beyond for me and my limited time there. Room was spotless and bed comfy. The view from top rooftop terrace especially during sunrise is incredible. Lastly, the beef tajin was delicious!!! Thanks so much for making my time in Aswan so memorable”

“Hotel is located really far from the city. Taxis are not finding location. It is on the middle of a slum very unsafe. Restaurants are none existing and you have to eat on the hotel which is super expensive and have only 2 options to choose. Kebab or spaghetti ”

“Overall, the hotel, pool and personnel I encountered were all very lovely and extremely helpful. I visited the pool, fitness room, bar and the dining room. My only concerning moment was the urgency of a waiter who hovered over my every move at dinner - especially when it came to paying for the meal. It was very strange and off putting. In fact I avoided going back to the dining room because of the experience. ”
