“The staff are fantastic. They really do everything they can to make things easy for you. Also if you are leaving very early to travel to Abu Simbel they will create a pack lunch for you in lieu of the breakfast buffet.”

“丘の上のホテルなので、ナイル川を見下ろす眺望は最高です。ヌビア建築のカラフルさにも心躍りました。ただ、立地が特殊なので設備などに多くは期待できません。あの場所によくこれほどの建物を建てたなあと感動してしまうくらいの所にあります。 アスワンの夏は強烈なので、その時期に来訪する場合はある程度覚悟を持って行った方がいいでしょう。冷房が灼熱に太刀打ちできません。シャワーやトイレは問題なく使用でき、屋外プールはきれいで水が冷たかったです。 とにかくアクセスが難しいので、連絡用のWhatsAppのダウンロードは必須ですが、宿泊直前までほとんど連絡が付かないです。のんびり構えていられる人向けです。 レストランの食事はおいしいです。下の村で食べるのと比べるとかなり割高になるので、そこも認識しておくとよいです。個人的にはあの場所で食事を提供するなら割高にして当たり前だろう、という感覚で利用しました。 とにかく色んな意味で余裕のある人のためのホテルだと思います。”

“The hotel is outside Aswan in New Aswan (about 20 minutes drive) so is very remote. It's a gorgeous location overlooking the Nile with the pools all facing that way. There are two gyms, one tiny one in the hotel itself and the other one where they need to drive you 10 minutes to the spa. We didn't realise that as it was a shame as the impression given was it was on site, but the drive meant it wasn't convenient and we couldn't use it based on the timings of our activities. The staff were so kind and helpful, the food was delicious, and the location was both peaceful (it’s right on the river!), as well as interesting (it’s right beside a Nubian craft market). Our only challenge was that the AC had a hard time cooling our room, but it was also 117 degrees so I think any AC would have struggled :)”

“Der Reiseführer Mina war großartig. Er hat uns auf anschauliche Art und Weise die alte ägyptische Geschichte erklärt. Die Ausflüge und Transfers haben reibungslos geklappt. Das Kreuzfahrtschiff - die Nile Jewel - bot ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Es ist ein älteres Schiff aber es war sauber und das Essen reichhaltig und gut.”
