“We loved the Sauk River Cabin! Perfect base for hikes along the Mountain Loop Highway and in North Cascades NP. Great location near Darrington, which has groceries, restaurants, and gas.The cabin itself is wonderful. Very comfy, and the river-side amenities like the fire pit and the lounge chairs on the riverbank make it a great place to hang out between and after explorations.Highly recommended!”

“The house and surrounding are exactly as pictured. It did not disappoint!! The view is spectacular! The property was very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well equipped. The beds were so comfy and the furniture was also comfortable and in great condition. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed it very much! I would highly recommend staying here!”

“It really does not show how unique this place is. The trees seem like they are supporting the house. We loved our pets there, we quickly took up the rugs and covered the couch then we could relax and watch them from the deck. The ground we lovely all the way to the river finding tunnel in the brush and mud holes. The ground we lovely all the way to the river we never had time to enjoy the new fire pit. “The property was spacious, clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Skagit River from the back porch and family room area. We used the home as a base for driving into the North Cascades National Park and doing day hikes. We did Cascade pass, Maple pass, and Blue Lake trails and then enjoyed the beautiful drive back to the rental home each day where we prepared a delicious meal using the grill and enjoying the dining area with a view of the river. “The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The weather was pretty dreary, but after spending a few hours on a hike, we loved sitting in the hot tub listening to the rain on the roof and looking out at the river. The trails around the property were fun to explore too. Host was very responsive.”
