“Hotel was fine but I somehow managed to find a place where nobody went to bed. Really noisy from guests smoking outside and being loud in their rooms well into the early hours. I know the hotel can’t do much about who stays there.”

“The room is very dated (a little like an old granny’s room). Of course you get what you pay for and this was Messe time … Still, it would be good to give the rooms a minimal upgrade. The very limited staffing of the reception (4 hours per day only) is also not very welcoming. ”

“As temperatures continue to rise it would be nice to have air conditioning. Not the norm throughout Essen.”

“Really friendly and accommodating staff. Philipp gets an A+ för service. Apartment was very nice and organised into the smallest details. Would stay here again for the next business trip.”

“The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. We loved that the breakfast area became the place where people would meet and gather and play games together.”

“The room was very nice, clean and modern. However the staff was not the friendliest. There was no AC in the room with 30 degrees outside, it took down the whole experience. Breakfast was ok. The parking was nice and close but limited space.”

“Feines Zimmer mit Bad, sauber, git erreichbar. Gerne wieder”

“The hotel was the only nice thing about Essen. The area was extremely unsafe and didn’t feel comfortable walking around. Had homeless people approach us- and a Sunday night fight on the street that lead to about 10 police cars! Didn’t feel like Germany at all Felt more like an area for middle eastern immigrants. Hotel was really nice though :)”

“Personalen var trevlig. Rummet rymligt, bekväm säng och bra AC. Frukosten var ok.”

“Väldigt bra frukost, stort utbud av olika saker.”
