The little Lake House in DeLand FL is a Beautiful, Comfortably Renovated Lake Front Cottage on the private and pristine Lake Winnemissett. This newly renovated cottage is close and convenient to everything; Historic Downtown DeLand, Stetson and Embry Riddle Universities, I-4, I-95, Daytona Speedway, Volusia Beaches and Springs (Blue, Gemini and DeLeon), Historic Sanford, Orlando and more.

The little Lake House DeLand offers 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and sleeps 6 comfortably with plenty of room to separate or come together. It is newly renovated and updated; very clean, comfortable and well appointed. From the beautiful original hardwood floors to the newly renovated and updated kitchen and baths, The little Lake House is truly a place to feel comfortable.

Work, play or relax while enjoying the waterfront from the inside views, the back yard, patio or dock. Lake Winnemissett is a beautiful private lake and considered the most pristine in all of Volusia County.

Lounge indoors, swim or just relax on the dock. There is plentiful parking.

Our stay at the little lake house was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. Nancy was great at communicating and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. So many thoughtful touches throughout the home-full kitchen with welcome basket of goodies, extremely comfortable beds, with plenty of extra blankets and pillows, bath towels were high end, and the home decor is beautiful. The view from the living room onto the lake is gorgeous. We had such a nice time and really appreciated staying in this home!

Our family of 5 had a perfect stay over the holidays. The house was extremely clean, had everything we needed - well stocked kitchen, large TV, comfy beds, and the lake views were fantastic. We loved waking up each morning to a pair of Sandhill Cranes just outside the picture frame window. The kayaks were an extra bonus that we enjoyed a great deal. We would certainly return in the future!

Had a great time at the lake house! We were staying in DeLand for Stetson’s homecoming and this was a great spot to hang out during our down time. Such a great view on the lake, would reccomend! Great communication from the host as well.

I’ve stayed here multiple times visiting my daughter at school and getting her moved in and out. What an amazing host and house. Nancy is on top of every detail, the house is always spotless and has everything you need. The lake was beautiful, we did some fishing and saw a big soft shell turtle swimming around the dock area. House has everything you need for a family trip. Kitchen is loaded with supplies so you can cook whatever you want. I will be back

Girls' Weekend

Four girls spent a long weekend at The Little Lake House and it was just perfect. The House is beautifully decorated and had all the things you could ever ask for. We really enjoyed a kayak trip one morning and evenings on the dock with wine.

Sublime stay in Deland, Florida

From the moment we walked in, relaxation was the vibe! We enjoyed the spacious living area, the outstanding view of the lake, all the wildlife and appreciated the welcoming care provided by our host. Excellent lakefront home

This property has everything you want and need. It is the most well stocked home I’ve ever rented. I’ve been back numerous times visiting my daughter at college. The kitchen is well stocked as are the bathrooms and bedrooms. The host is very responsive to any needs and communicates well in the time leading up to the trip.

Quick weekend for daughter’s competition

Everything was great!! Nancy had a small welcome basket for us which was a nice treat since we got in late! She worked well and responded extremely fast to any questions or requests. Amazing location and home by the lake with kayaks

The house is super clean and modern. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked meals every day. The house is beautifully furnished. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. And my husband is picky about his beds and he gave it an A. The bathrooms are clean and good water pressure. There were lots of extra blankets, throws and towels. The view with huge windows is so beautiful, of the lake. The kids were squealing with delight. The kayaks were a huge hit. We hopped on a few times. We saw beautiful birds come by. We could see them even from inside the house. There is a very large tv and a piano ( my younger kid enjoyed). There is a laundry room that we didn’t use. We visited in March and visited the Blue Springs park close by (20 minute drive) and saw manatees. We also drove to the Daytona Beach beach - 30 minutes drive. Though the house close to the road, it was quiet. There are grocery stores close by. We also played Uno that the host had left for us. There was another interesting board game we didn’t get to. This is one of the best rentals we have done, and we have been doing it for a long time.Nancy was responsive, flexible and kind.

Time to Relax

The Little Lake House was immaculate..perfectly clean..I stayed with 2 of my sisters.. the mattresses were excellent.. kitchen spotless and fully equipped..the backyard lake view was so relaxing and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us and provide little niceties to make our stay so easy and relaxing.

Perfection!!

By far, The Little Lake House was the best rental we have ever had and Nancy, as host, knocked it out of the park! The property is METICULOUS and Nancy’s thoughtful touches made it feel like home. The Little Lakehouse experience

When we arrived, we were thrilled to find a very clean, well- stocked, and organized property. It was simply but beautifully decorated, and had a booklet clearly explaining expectations (very few) , along with facts about the area, things to see, places to eat, and instructions for checking out. It’s located on a beautiful lake, with a patio that overlooks the lake. The street in front is very busy but doesn’t distract from the comfort of our visit. Is very close to route 4 that heads towards the beaches around Daytona. The owner was very helpful. We recommend this listing.alwa

Girls Weekend

What an amazing place. So cute and clean. Everything that you could need is here! My friend and I stayed for the weekend. We explored Cassadega and downtown Deland. We also worked on some art projects while looking out the picture window to the lake. I would book again!

Adorable Lake House

We loved this property. We have family in DeLand, and this was the perfect place for our needs. We were just minutes from family, and downtown DeLand. We also visited Blue Springs to see the manatees, which was on my bucket list! The view was beautiful, I enjoyed watching the water birds on the lake as I drank my coffee each morning. The space is beautifully decorated, very clean, and the kitchen is probably the most well stocked kitchen we've ever seen! We hope to be able to stay here again, and maybe we will have time to take the kayaks out.
