“We booked this home for a long weekend, which included attending a wedding in downtown Wetumpka. This was the perfect place for my husband and I, along with my daughter, her husband, and their 3 year old son. The house has so many amenities that kept us entertained. My husband was out on the kayak every morning. My grandson enjoyed going out with his dad and grandad on the paddleboat. Plus everyone loved hanging out in the game room. There was plenty of space in the living area to spread out...

“I got this house because of what description said.....Other Things to NoteThis is a fully renovated and newly listed home. Please treat it with the care and respect you would your own. While we strive to respond quickly to any issues, there is no one living on-site 24/7. ... But this is what I found, it took me almost 1 hour to take pictures of everything I found. It looked like new flooring and and a few light fixture, but everything else was old , marred and dirty. Walls had patched spots...

“Pros: Great location and value for money. Nicely decorated in shabby chic style. 3 beds ranging from soft to firm. Clean, comfy bedding with a variety of pillows. Plenty of towels & wash cloths in bathroom. Good A/C and kitchen amenities. Multiple porch swings. Cons: Thick layer of dust on ceiling fan blades and 1 portable fan. Cobwebs hanging from kitchen blinds. There is a very strong mildew smell that takes a bit to get used to but a large air purifier runs nonstop to take the edge off....

“Conveniently located near downtown and Maxwell AFB. House had all the basics you needed. Curbside parking on side streets was adequate. House is old with lots of quirks and marginal craftsmanship on upgrades. Cleanliness was okay/marginal with some issues passed along to manager. Master BR has stained glass window that lets a lot of light in during the night from neighbor’s security flood light. Multiple non-functional items: ironing board was broke, multiple remotes not working due to dead...

“I found the property to be everything it was advertised to be. The house was located in a very quiet neighborhood, the entire house was very clean, filled with snacks, and any others items that you may need away from home, their was even a bottle of wine, a very nice touch my guest and I truly enjoyed it and our stay. “Last minute I had to book something as I had to pick my son up from Fort Benning due to an injury. When we came into the house, we were taken back. There was a paper towel in the sink filled with dirt, there were washcloths inside the washing machine dirty, some paper towels in the garbage can, and the front bathroom had issues with the toilet. The toilet was actually clogged with stool inside sitting there. I was horrified. I reached out to VRBO and they did give me an adjusted rate, and had...
