“The staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was early every morning and very tasty. This was important because I get off work at 5:00 am and I need to get to sleep early so I can work that night. Working nights I was put in a very quiet part of the motel. So mych appreciated. West Union is a small friendly little town that makes you at home from day one. ”

“Breakfast was limited and not replenished when items ran out. Not real fresh. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, cube-cut fried potatoes, no Meats, nice bananas, bread, muffins, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, juice, coffee. Get there early if you want enough! ”

“This was the perfect place for us and several family members including two small girls for a very special Christmas. Lovely layout, large and well equipped kitchen and comfortably heated in the winter. And plenty of room for the girls to play. The host made sure the snow was shoveled quickly. We would stay here again. ”

“We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners...
