“We had family camping at the state park for the long weekend and wanted to stay close by. The cabin was perfect. We had time to visit easily and also an air conditioned place to sleep in. It also is dog friendly so we were able to bring the dogs. Getting a dog sitter on a long weekend is difficult. ”

“There is no breakfast, but there is a full kitchen and full-size refrigerator. It was very quiet. We saved lots of money bringing our own food and cooking. ”

“We stayed in the Sally Rand room. The room and bed were comfortable and within walking distance to an awesome coffee shop (The Leaky Roof?) and a nice little stroll down by the river where we saw eagles in the trees. This was a unique place to stay for us to break up a long drive. The host was friendly and the property felt secure. Unfortunately I can't give five stars for the pool because we didn't use it so I don't know anything about it and the review form wouldn't let me skip it.”

“Perfect stop right on the Katy Trail! All was just as described in the listing. Close to shopping areas to stock up on food and supplies. Sent stay request on Friday after 6pm to arrive on Saturday and host replied within an hour that late reservation was no problem and property would be ready for my stay. ”

“Great place. We loved the historical signs and display cases with artifacts around the hotel. The celebration in the town square was a nice bonus. Very quiet and quaint. I wish we'd have had more time to do a little fishing.”

“Very quiet and peaceful. The interior was clean and updated. Nice living room with 3 love seats, which I think are also pull-out beds? And there is a card table with sturdy comfortable chairs that can seat maybe 6 people. There is a small, but very nice kitchen. Two bathrooms, each attached to its own bathroom, with the bathrooms also having a second door opening to the living room for convenience. Beds were comfortable, but just note for guests who are bigger or have mobility issues, the beds...
