“Lovely place. Very tastefully done.”

“The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available.”

“The accommodation is very well equipped and had everything that we needed for our stay. It was like a home from home and has been very well thought out. The house is just a short walk from a large supermarket, bus station and selection of bars and restaurants. Our family took a bus into Liverpool and also toured North Wales and went to Chester Zoo nearby during our stay. We would highly recommend this property.”

“It was the perfect dog friendly place to stay, good position between coast and hills and forest. Everything we needed for comfort, Sandra (the owner)is next door for any issues you may have, the village is very pretty and perfect for dog walks with lots of lanes through the country if you don't fancy going to far, would highly recommend”

“Olive is a lovely property situated right in the heart of the countryside. A great place to relax and a lovely big enclosed garden for our dog to roam free. We had such a lovely stay, it has everything you need and more. Interior is so nice and cosy with a modern a twist. Very close to some lovely local pubs, restaurants and farm shops. Penelope was amazing and helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommended if you’re in the Cheshire area. Would love to go back!”
