“Wonderful place to stay! I highly recommend this place to stay!! My 2 grandsons age 18 and 15 and I really liked this place! Very clean and had everything we needed. Quiet and beds were comfortable. Joe was a great host and. very helpful and very nice to work with. We highly recommend this place! Very close to Denali National Park (20 minutes). We went on a green bus tour of Denali. Great views of mountains and wildlife. I recommend going on this tour. Prospector’s Pizzeria was great. Next door...

“Very clean and comfortable stay. It was tight with five people and luggage but we knew that going in and it was fine for a one-night stay. One pull-out couch was ok, the other quite uncomfortable. For those looking for a longer stay, the cabin would be perfect for a couple or small family. Dowtown Talkeetna was less than a 5 minute drive but also walkable. The immediate neighborhood had some run-down properties but didn’t feel unsafe. Communication with the hosts was very good. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Birch. The entire property was thoughtfully laid out and maintained. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and using the paddle boat and kayaks. Sitting quietly on the lake and watching the loons was so relaxing. Our teens also really enjoyed the provided outdoor games. The amenities inside were numerous and we were quite comfortable during our stay. Darryl was very fast to respond and very pleasant. We definitely hope to stay here again!”

“Jim's spot was the perfect place to call home while exploring Talkeetna. Not too far from the town but also so secluded and quiet. Everything was as described - we even were welcomed by homemade brownies. Jim and his pup were super friendly and kind. Falling asleep surrounded by woods is a peace like none other.”

“The cabin was clean and well appointed for our the 2 of us and our adult son. We used the grill and appreciated having propane and tools to use. The stay came in the middle of our 2-week Alaska adventure, so the convenience of the laundry was great. We were somewhat surprised at the layout, with the kitchen and living space on the 2nd floor and the bedroom (with no door) and bathroom on the first floor, but it allowed for the views from the living area. Best of all we were treated to a visit...

“House was cold when we arrived. Windows were open...I think to air out the cabin from the wood smoke smell. It smelled that previosly someone couldnt get the fire going (wet wood or poor draft). Once we closed the wondows the cabin warmed. Alternative heating to just using wood would be a good idea...especially on cooler days. Overall the host was great and the cabin cosy. ”

"Hotell med många restaurangalternativ, på en plats som annars saknar detta utbud. Rent o fräscht, men i behov av uppfräschning (i alla fall den byggnad vi bodde i). Känns som om hotellet är mest till för Cruise-resenärer inom Proncess-bolaget."
