This is an inaccurate and very surprising review. The house is of the age and condition as pictured in the photos. The guest told me ‘during her stay ‘we love the house’. Denmark can get damp but no one else has complained of mustiness since the downstairs had vinyl floors installed in November 2022. Similarly the beds in the master bedroom and the twin bedroom have been replaced in that timeframe. The other beds have never been an issue, although I will look into this. This guest seems to have had unrealistic expectations - an outdoor table is impossible to keep clean in Denmark unless used all the time, and a vacuum cleaner usually has dust in it. The property is pet friendly - she brought her dog - so a vacuum is there for guests to use. She also messaged me and seemed to think I should be somehow responsible for a Denmark wide power outage! What she also doesn’t mention is that I offered to reimburse her for the bbq gas bottle. And that she failed to put all of her rubbish in the council bin even though it wasn’t completely full, and instead left it outside the bin in front of the house (where animals got into it and spread it around the front yard). She also failed to put the bins on the road as requested for collection so it wasn’t collected by the council (did she think the rubbish truck would come down the driveway to get the bin, plus rubbish left outside of the bin??). That left my cleaner to have to deal with rubbish not collected and spread around the yard before the next guests arrived.
