"Väldigt trevlig och vänlig personal. Vi hade speciellt bra kontakt med en i receptionspersonalen. Vi fick hjälp med utflykter och allt annat vi behövde. Han ordnade med uppgradering av rummet då vi hade fått room i Garden Wing där reparationer pågick till rum närmare pool och strand. Rummet fint med stor balkong, lite slitet men hotellet är ändå över 50 år gammalt. Städningen bra. Fina gröna poolområden och fin strand med solsängar. God frukost med kock som tillagade ägg enligt önskemål, frukt, yougurth, indonesiska rätter, våfflor mm. Vi saknade ingenting. Lugnt hotell, inget party på sena kvällar men mycket bra coverband som spelade vid stranden. "

"We booked the ocean view suite to have an uninterrupted view and spoil ourselves but the whole experience unfortunately got ruined by the lack of view and staff. The view from the suite 505 is blocked by the tree bar and when expressing our concern to the hotel staff, they offered very disappointing solutions (free breakfast and a massage) - Hotels.com was more helpful than the hotel itself - but we just wanted an ocean view. I refuse to believe that we’re the only ones who have complained about the view from suite 505 and the staff themselves admitted that all the Ocean View suite photos are taken from suite 507 (which has an uninterrupted view of the ocean). At best it’s a wrong description, at worst it’s deliberate and something the hotel tries to get away with. The hotel could easily mention that some suites have a partial view or add a separate category of suites with partial view. The resort itself is decent and nicely located on the beach. The actual beach is more narrow than other hotels but still nice. There are multiple rooms and categories and the breakfast is outstanding."

"Honest Review of InterContinental Hotel The hotel has potential, but overall didn’t meet expectations. Pool: View ruined by an ugly restaurant roof not shown in booking photos. Kids’ pools were identical — one good for 3–5 yrs, but too shallow for 5–8. Adult pool was too deep. Many seats lacked cushions, uncomfortable for parents who have to sit for hours watching the kids play in the water. Gym: Missing cable crossover and pull-up bar. No bench press either, though free weights were available. Limited training variety. Breakfast: French toast, pancakes, and beef omelet were great. Iced latte was excellent. Dining area was beautiful. But bread options were limited, and butter was rock hard from being stored on ice. No sliced vegetables to make a proper sandwich. Room: Nice upgrade, but insulation was poor. Wind noise scared our kids, kept them awake. Great view and AC, but bad sleep ruined it. Kids couldn't sleep and they felt it was like a horror movie. Kids Club: Great for under-7s. Our 6-year-old loved it. Not enough for older kids. Shower: Water pressure was weak — showers took forever. Strange for a 5 star hotel to have this weak water pressure on the shower. Wi-Fi: Decent, but not top tier. Minibar: Overpriced — felt like a trap. Area: Loved nearby Icon Mall and Three Monkeys restaurant. Overall Rating: 2.8/5. Wouldn’t return."
