We only had breakfast at the resort once (on January 1), and the service was extremely slow with a very grumpy attitude, which set a negative tone for the first day of the year. The room was spacious with a nice terrace, but housekeeping needs improvement. Used cups and bottles were never removed, and despite having AC, the humidity in the room was extremely high – everything felt constantly damp. We only realized how abnormal this was after moving to our next hotel. We also experienced an uncomfortable housekeeping situation after accidentally spilling coffee in the bed. We fully accepted responsibility, but returning to find all stained sheets and a towel placed in the middle of the bed with a note felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. The note would have been enough. On a positive note, the bar staff and their supervisor were fantastic – friendly, helpful, and genuinely fun. They were by far the highlight of our stay. In summary, while the resort has some nice aspects, it’s not a place we would choose to return to."
