“Hi! I’m a pastors wife to a church that is local(ish) to this property, less than 1 hour away. We had ladies come stay the whole weekend & ladies who came out for the day…. In total 15 women came thru with 13 of us actually staying thru out the multiple nights of our reservation. Each bedroom has a lil bunk room off of it & it’s own bathroom. I wanted to rent something that all my women’s group could get away & relax & just chill out & be completely stress & worry free for a weekend. I am here...

“If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded stay near the water with plenty of wildlife this is the place to go not to mention excellent fishing . We have already booked a return stay in the spring ”

“We had an amazing time and loved this place! It is just as described and the owner was incredibly helpful. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is great! We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds in the morning and using the karaoke machine at night! We had a great time hanging out by the river, as well as in the spa. Everything was great!”

“We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin on the river. This cabin is perfect for 2 (and a water-loving dog) and has everything you need. We enjoyed hanging out in the river all day and relaxing on the porch at night listening to nature. We had the best weekend and can’t wait to go back! Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven!”

“This little Barndominium was the perfect place for my & my daughter’s stay while attending the Pentecostal Youth conference.It is very quaint, cozy, in a very nice quiet neighborhood; it would actually be very nice for a romantic getaway for a couple, or even just a sabbatical for an individual.We really enjoyed ourselves and Chris was very accommodating and quick with responding when the need arose. “Host was amazingly friendly, apartment was very clean,cool and cozy ,the pool and pond was so relaxing,kids also caught fish that I prepared for dinner, Host welcomed my party guest with a smile and charm, the kids played so much , they slept during movie time, while I enjoyed a book by the pool,I'm so excited about returning.”

“Great property! It offered the perfect space to get away from the daily stresses of life. The outdoor space allows you to enjoy nature but is well maintained enough to not be overwhelmed by it. The covered patio made it easy to enjoy sitting outside even in the Mississippi summer. The interior spaces are nicely appointed and very comfortable. It was the perfect cozy and secluded getaway we were looking for! ”

“Do not recommend. Host was entirely MIA and never provided check in information. Do they even own this property? I spent hundreds on food that went to waste when this was canceled due to the host’s lack of communication to me and vrbo staff.”

“We have family in the Tylertown area and usually stay at their place when we come for a visit. This time we decided to rent a place for the two nights and found Colbys River Retreat. Jolla was an awesome host. Greeted us to show us the functuins in the rv and gave us a bag of fresh picked blueberries. She was incredibly nice the rv was clean and had eerything you woukd need. Price was great. There arent any hotels in Tylertiwn area. The river with its great sand bars and tubing is awesome. If...
