“We had a problem with getting the door code to work at first. I had to call the property and they gave me another code to try. Once we tried the new code everything was great. The property was clean and well taken care of. We liked it so much we are thinking of getting our daughters sonething like it back home.”

“Views-amazing 3 beds but only used 1. It was plush, perfect for me. Too soft for hubby but he likes extra firm. He didn’t go check out any of the other bed options. Temp: Host had it cranked down. There are 2 mini-splits and they handle the Texas heat just fine. I had to turn them up (very unusual). 2 restrooms but only 1 shower. Worked for 2 people, but others need to plan accordingly. Kitchen: we didn’t use it but appeared well equipped. Safety: in a gated and friendly community....

“This house has been really nicely done and was perfect for our one night stay. The neighborhood felt a bit sketchy and perhaps this is why it's so reasonably-priced, but it was quiet and we had no issues. And it was less than 10 minutes to the Big Texan. The front and back yards are fenced, creating two safe spaces for our dog. Alek was super responsive when I had a couple of questions. Importantly, it was wonderfully clean. ”

“This place is on the third floor with no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage’s up and down. The door code was not emailed to me as booking, had to contact the owner for the code ,which was provided wrong to me at first, caused the door to lock for a while. And then it was the right code. The bed sheets aren’t very clean for both rooms. And the guess rooms door is hard to shut it close. ”

“While a little sketchy upon arrival (the outside of the house could use some updating), the inside was adorable and comfortable. It was a very affordable option that was very close to Palo Duro Canyon. And dog friendly with a fenced back yard!!!”

“Cute little 3 bdrm home with all the essentials needed. So thoughtful leaving snacks ans waters for the littles to munch on upon arrival and an assortment of games for them to stay occupied. Would definitely use this location again in the future. ”

“Easy check-in, great efficient kitchen facilities, good online contact with host. Easy, relaxing, cozy stay. Great overnight/weekend getaway. It was just the thing we were looking for.”

“This is a must-stay location in the Palo Duro area. The house is iconic and the views are spectacular. The original artwork and the decor in the house was an added plus. The facilities were perfect and the host was very helpful. I wish we had more time to stay. We will definitely plan on staying here again when we're in the area. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us!”

“I always enjoy traveling through Amarillo. It is always nice to stay in a house that has everything you need for a short stay. The AC was wonderful. We were traveling to Santa Fe for a 8 night stay. We often travel to Colorado too. Amarillo and VRBO homes like this make travel through Amarillo pleasant and restful.”

“I walked in and it looked clean. The shower as dirty and my daughter’s sheets had some stuff on it. The beds were comfy but the TV had barely any channels on it though. The clock didn’t work though. We didn’t eat the breakfast but we went to the Waffle House beside it. Maybe stay there again.”

“The home was clean, we enjoyed the pool and were very happy with the rental. The ability to use the garage to park our vehicle was great. It was so nice to get into a car that wasn't sitting in the hot Texas sun. We would have stayed again on our return trip but it was booked. ”

“My family and I came to Amarillo to celebrate the Patriarch of the Tull family. Upon arrival, the house was very clean even smelled clean. This is so peaceful! Your passion for helping others relax and feel their best really shines through We stayed 4 days and couldn't have asked for a nicer, more comfortable stay. Thank you for helping us through a difficult time in our lives. We would definitely stay again next time we're in Amarillo. Very comfortable ”

"Luktar mögel, fuktigt i alla utrymmen och vi fick kliande utslag på kroppen av sängarna. Bra restaurang utanför hotellet dock! "

The Big Texan Motel

"Poolen avstängd, smutsigt på loftgången och trappan upp t rummen. Tråkigt att inte frukost erbjuds när de har en egen restaurang bredvid. Sängkläderna är billigaste lakanen och en tunn bomullfilt, inget lyx direkt. Bra ac. Bodde här mest för att kunna bada i poolen och äta på Big Texan. Ange på hotels att poolen är stängd."
