“Great property with an interesting layout. Was perfect for our annual 4-generation family vacation. First floor BR was just right for out 75-ish seniors, and plenty of room upstairs for everyone else. Just a short drive to the beach for the girls to float on our tubes, and great fishing for the guys. Dorothy gave us a tour when we arrived, and Jerry, the owner/architect, lives nearby and Ray had great fishing tips. Jerry's artist gifts are evident throughout the property. Gracious and welcoming....

“Our extended family had a fun 5 night stay on Madison Lake. We had 6 adults and 4 kids. There is a large game room with a pool table, ping pong, fooseball, keyboard, and a variety of games and toys, and a 2nd fridge. The kitchen is large and well stocked with pots and pans and dishes galore, and a Kuerig coffee machine. They even provided some snacks, waters, and a couple bottles of wine! What a nice surprise! We enjoyed time by the lake having a fire in the fire pit and playing corn hole toss....

“Stayed here for an overnight down from Minneapolis and it was perfect. Walking distance to the venue and bars/restaurants/coffee shops. Apartment was clean, had the basic necessities, and was a good landing spot. Only issue was dead batteries in the tv remote, but we survived!”

“We came for a couple of hockey games and loved staying at this beautiful, cozy farmhouse. The hosts were welcoming and communicative, including recommending local restaurants. The beds are so soft and Lisa’s decorating makes you feel right at home. We had gorgeous fall weather so we spent a lot of time out on the deck with our morning coffee. The kitchen had what we needed and our hosts even left some welcoming snacks and great coffee. It is peaceful and quiet, yet only 15 minutes from downtown....

“This place was a fantastic little escape to the country for my family and our friends. The space was open and inviting and well stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. I will say we had to take some extra measures for our two year old to be as least destructive as possible, but then again, is there really any space safe from a chaotic two year old? Regardless, wonderful experience! ”
