Mark and Michelle were very helpful and knowledgeable about the Big Bend area. It is a little bit of a drive, but trust me, it is well worth it! “We found this to be the perfect place to stay as we explored Big Bend. Perfect combination of feeling remote and safety with the other units on the property. The shared cantina was a great place to chat with other people and have access to a full kitchen and grills. Large property with a fun short hike and lots of area to explore when hanging out near the room. Would highly recommend.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the dome. The dome is small but still spacious. There are 2 plug outlets that can hold only cell phone/tablet/watch. No cell phone service (tmobile). The host did a really good job at giving instructions on how to get to the property as we lost cell service. The entrance to Big Bend is 20 minutes. The seclusion of the property was great! I would stay again if we decide to visit another time. ”

“This property was between Alpine and Terlingua, so it is pretty remote. The area is beautiful and the motel property was cute. The room was clean, my only criticism is the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I definitely recommend.”

“A place like this the view and location are what makes or break one. The location is right in the ghost town! Food and entertainment are right there! The view is unbelievable! I have never seen better. The room was great. Everything we needed! Outdoor kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of places to sit to taking in all of the beauty. The patio was comfortable and also had great sitting options. ”

“My Husband and I were so happy with our stay at this beautiful little cabin over Easter weekend! The host was wonderful and incredibly responsive. Amenities were great, exactly as listed and no surprises! We were able to be secluded from others to enjoy the serenity of the desert. We took advantage of the wonderful food at the lodge up the road as well as the showers. 10/10 would recommend this place to ANYONE looking for the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of West Texas. ”

"Totaly ok standard for that price. Low-budget place with no fancy features, but good possibilities to store your own food if you get a refrigerator in your room. Great service in general, I even had a ride to the station on the day of my department."
