“Very serene location at a lower point on the lake, but with enough to do so you don't get bored. Only negative is if you don't have a boat, it is a 10-minute drive just to get back to the main roads, and then at least another 10 minute drive to any local attractions/restaurants.”

“The place was amazing! We stayed in the two bedroom two bath cabin. It was right on the lake. It did rain most of the time, but we still enjoyed ourselves! They have a small swimming area and you can even rent boats at the place. The clubhouseis open 24 hrs. It's based on the honor system and that is pretty amazing! They have a small fireplace, tons of DVDs, pingpong, ice cream and more things to do at the clubhouse! The staff was amazing as well. They always text back and make sure everything...

“A superb experience in every respect. It’s an incredible property and it’s even larger than it looks with the tall ceilings. The layoff is fantastic and the property is especially unique as almost every room feels like a veranda 4th deck view of the water. The Master Bedroom and en-suite is amazing and opens up to an outdoor large hot tub overlooking the lake & cove. Started every day with a 30 minute kayak, laps in the private pool, & hot tub. “Absolutely lovely place and would definitely recommend it. At the last minute we needed to bring our dog Meg. This change was not an issue with the owner and had us feeling very relieved. Also, the beds are comfortable which is a huge plus. My Husband felt secure leaving his motorcycle trailer parked in front of the cottage and said this was hands down the best place we have ever stayed. ”

“I hosted a company retreat here, and this place was incredible. There was plenty of room, though we planned to have more people and I think if everyone showed up as planned, we'd have been a little cramped. I would probably cap attendance at 16 people. The three levels of patio was my favorite part. And every level is well furnished. The theater was exceptional, as all the chairs we so comfortable and placed perfectly. “Everything you need all right there, what more could you ask for! My family had a great time at the lake, the pool and hot tub was definitely a huge bonus for us. The band on saturday night was awesome as well as the food from the restaurant. Cabin was clean and made us all feel comfortable and gave us space to hang out as a family. “Nice house. Great rooms. Just beware there is only one bathroom upstairs where the king rooms are. Three downstairs. Outside patio is wonderful. Kitchen well equipped. The living room space had plenty of comfortable seating. We had a terrible week for fishing but the weather was fantastic! Very quiet and secluded.”

“After having rented many years through VRBO, resorts, condos and houses, this was by far the cleanest and best we’ve had! There is nothing I would change about this house. The dock is great for swimming and the fire pit is awesome! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. One thing you’ll need to pack on your own is beach towels, which some rentals have and others don’t. Not a complaint at all, just FYI for future renters. Thanks from a fellow Iowan!! ”
