“We had a wonderful stay at the Dock House! The fishing was fantastic, and Doug was a gracious host. He even came out to the dock to make sure our fishing was successful! The kids had a blast roaming outdoors and enjoying the playground. We enjoyed the firepit and scenic views! ”

“The cabin was very comfortable and well-furnished. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. The air conditioner worked particularly well. The location was just what we were looking for—on the banks of a slough that connected to Big Cypress Bayou. We were able to put in right by the cabin, but we weren’t bothered by the boat traffic out on the bayou. ”

“Charming house in great neighborhood in walking distance to town, shops & food. Host Lori (& hubby) have done a great job creating a cozy, comfortable home for guests. The way they documented the history & transformation of the Church House was really remarkable. We loved the history of the area! And all of the neighbors/business owners/workers were so friendly & helpful. We will be back as we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do.”

“6 of us Stayed on this great lake house. We were in the area putting up deer stands and feeders. Was great to come back after a hard days work to the A Frame! The place had great beds, and everything was well outfitted. ”

“Absolutely wonderful location close to the lake a charming little “cabin“ very quiet an excellent place to relax we really enjoyed our 10th anniversary fishing, sleeping and eating in this quiet little place. We would highly recommend not only this little cabin, but this Owner who has a few properties on this site”

“Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. ”

“Unique option for an out of the norm experience. We went for my husband's birthday, we enjoyed being right on the water. Location was right in the middle of everything that Uncertain has to offer. We were able to enjoy a mud boat racing event on one of the days we were there. I did see a few complaints about the activity/noise on the dock where this is located. All activity was during "normal" hours, most activity in the surrounding area died down around 8ish. This is a boat house in an active...

“Great Place!!!! The house was awesome, perfect for kids. Our kids didn’t want to even go out in the boats they wanted to stay and play at the house. A slide, jump platform, floats and a lily pad! They have plenty of room here for everyone and an extra cabin on the property that you can also rent out. They have multiple boat slips and tires on the post so you can get easily tie off other boats without worrying about them hitting the side. The host was very helpful and answered every question...
