“Negatives. Terrible shower: feeble water pressure, not very hot water, confusing controls. Couch/futon was hard and poorly padded. No kettle. I didn’t need to use the fireplace, but it didn’t work anyway. Positives. Access instructions were sent promptly on time as promised by the hotel, and digital entry locks worked flawlessly. Very good location right in the town. Quiet. Good view of the river and the tide changes.”

“Black Forest Cabins were beautiful! The decor inside the cabin was adorable. It was spacious and clean. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the bathroom- bigger than expected. The cabins are located within walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping, the ocean, and walking trails. I would recommend staying here!”

“The place was very clean, it had everything we needed. The area is nice and plenty of walking trails and lakes. The host was nice and accommodating. The building could use more spund proofing as we could hear toddlers and stomping, but other than that everything was perfect. I can't wait to come back again.”

“We gathered with grandchildren and partners to celebrate our mothers birthday. We were impressed by the overall design and features of the layout, views, pool, and kitchen. These were enhanced by all the details, the thoughtful extra supplies, the cleanliness, incredibly well equipped kitchen and the responsiveness and helpfulness of our hosts. Highly recommended!”

“We were two families who stayed at the serene modern lakehouse when we traveled to NS to attend a family funeral. We had great communication with the host. The house is very large and served us well for our large group; lots of different spaces to spread out. It has 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with one bedroom being on the main floor with direct access to a full bathroom. A large master suite upstairs has full ensuite and walk in closet.
