“Wow, we loved this place! Such a cozy cabin with sweet touches. We particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire and utilizing the sauna stepsaway, having pizza on the clean porch, and settling into the master which felt like we were sitting in the trees. We had such a relaxing, serene experience! ”

“Overall, a very nice little place. Was much smaller than it appeared on the listing and a bit cramped with all the furniture in it, yet it met all of our needs for staying while we explored Oregon. The Blue Heron sanctuary was quite fascinating to listen to and we enjoyed hearing & watching the Eagle as well :) A lovely area! Communication with the owner was prompt and thorough and they even left us some information about the various areas we could explore being in Oregon for the first time. :) ”

“I wish I could write a better review for this place. I was super excited to stay here but it just wasn't worth the price. Upon driving up to the house you immediately see a large blue tarp covering most of the roof. The outside exterior clearly needs some maintenance and is in disarray. The entrance to the place is down some side stairs that also need some repair. The door doesn't lock! Entering the apartment/flat, you are immediately overcome with a smell of must and urine! “This place is absolutely perfect in every way. Story book property.”

“The property is nestled nicely in a forested neighborhood. It was just as the pictures depicted. The only negative thing I can say is that the master bedroom bed had a bit of outdoor debris on it and in between the sheets. There was extra sheets and that was fixed quickly. It is close to many area and activities. Overall it was a good stay!”

“Lavishing in a hot tub deep in the forest alongside a clear, rushing river, flourishing rhododendron, and other flowers was the epitome of "forest bathing." It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. “We had an amazing stay – I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for my daughter’s graduation weekend. The layout of the home was ideal: the main bedrooms were nicely separated from the patio and basement areas, so those who stayed up late didn’t disturb anyone needing rest. “In a small cluster of homes. Neighbors are quiet. Woods setting is lovely and a very short drive to Salmon River trailhead. Beds need upgrading but otherwise very unpretentious and cozy.”

“Great little place to go wish the was at least one large bed though, super cute love the ambience. ”

“Had a great time at the cabin and made a great home base for sledding at snow bunny! Clean and well stocked! I was worried about loft for kids but it’s bigger than photos look so we didn’t have any concerns/issues with them sleeping and playing up there. We will be back!”

“The apt is set back off the road and is secluded. The apt itself is really nice and cozy. Only dissapointment was the stairs to the second floor bedroom. There too small and hard to walk up and down. Other than that the apt was very clean and decorated beautifully. ”

“Pros:Very relaxing place to rest, mediate, cook and sleep with the sounds of the river and nature.Cons:The septic system its in need of urgent repairs. Toilets wont flush properly. The trophies on the walls are smelly and sad to look at.I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family.”

“Family from two States flew in to see mmy daughter graduate law school at Lewis and Clark.the house accomadated myself, my son his wife their 3 year old, my brother and his wife, my sister in law and her husband vey comfortably. The home owner gave us prmission to hold a small celebration Saturday night for her. Wonderful time. Loved the game room and hot tub. permission to hold a celebration ”
