“Valcour Cottages was the perfect escape for a lake house vacation! The house was clean, perfect view of Lake Champlain, and provided wood for fire pits at night. We were able to use the tubes we brought to swim on a calm water day (there are steep steps to the water, but also a couple close beaches) The Cottages are near some gorgeous hikes! “This camp was perfect for our needs for a week on the lake. We had no difficulty settling in with our family of 4 and our golden retrievers in tow. The property is well maintained, the inside of the cabin was clean and inviting. It is roomy enough that we never felt crowded for space. "The room felt old and dirty. The breakfast was just sweet bread and other pastry bought at a wholesale. The bathtub was old and dirty. Repainted once upon a time and that pain has now started to fade. We realized the drains in the bathtub / shower didn't work properly when me and my 3 old son was gonna try the pool and needed to shower in our own room before. My son slipped and needed to go to the ER. There was no safety precautions for the bathtub. No bathtub mats or similar. "
