“Well cared for and clean older updated home. Fishing and kayaking for kids 6-12 was perfect with nearly no current. Had so much fun with the ping pong table. House was very spacious with beautiful, old decor. Plenty of games and a variety of books. Loved our stay and would definitely come back. ”

“This was our second stay at Heron’s Hideway. The location is wonderful on a peaceful, beautiful lake and yet close to Florence a charming town with good shopping and many great restaurants. The hosts are very accommodating and ensure your stay is perfect. The provided kayaks allow you to get out onto the lake.We hope to return and highly recommend!”

“Love the cabin and the location! It’s rustic and cozy and the perfect place to gather with friends for both fun and relaxation. The view of the lake is gorgeous and it’s not so far inland that if you want to pop to the coast it’s a reasonable drive. Definitely planning on coming back! ”

“Perfect for hubby and I. Bedrooms were small so we each stayed separately. We were able to walk to the beach. Nice row of windows with an ocean view from the living area of the house. Also a nice deck area facing the ocean!”

“It was a quaint cabin in the countryside and I enjoyed listening to the crickets and hanging out with Finley, the friendly pup on the porch! We really enjoyed seeing the flocks of wild turkeys wandering around!”

4/10 Dåligt

"Hotellet var ett av de dyrare på orten så vi hade hoppats på bättre. Rummet var slitet. Fläcklig heltäckningsmatta med stora hål och fåtöljer där klädseln höll på att ge sig på flera ställen. Allmänt ofräscht. Trots att gym och bubbelpool var ett par av de amenities som man betalar extra för var båda dessa stängda. "
