“I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the cabin was! I read the positive reviews and felt comfortable staying there but didn’t realize how spacious and homey the cabin would feel! The beds were super comfortable, having a washer and dryer in the cabin was a pleasant surprise, and the quietness of the entire resort area was fantastic. Super spread out. Renting canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards was really easy. The cabin got a little warm during the day but the three box fans were a big help.”

My suggestion is to let people know that it’s located right on the road, so that they are aware of traffic noise and that the loft has low ceilings which adults are unable to stand. “We rent this property for family reunion, it’s sleeps 50 but a lot of that is bunk rooms, which is great for all the kids and younger generations. Some the rooms are basically private suites, one has king bed, computer table, A/C, private balcony, loft with 4 beds and bunk all in same room. An entire family of 7-8 can sleep in one room with their own bathroom which is awesome. We also rented some other properties nearby that had more private rooms for older generations to have a private room....

The views of Porter Lake are stunning and nothing beats having your morning coffee while watching the sun rise up over the lake and listening to the loons say good morning.
