"Fantastic Ryokan experience, from start to finish. Only 30 min away from Tokyo and yet very secluded. Note that Momijiya consist of two different accomodations: the main building up by the road (Honkan Sansou), and a more exclusive annex down by the river (Bekkan Kawa No Iori. This review concern the latter. Shuttle bus service is offered from Hanazono station, among a few others. "

"Harmonic, clean and calm hotel with a lot of amenities. The private baths were amazing, the public bath was also very nice. The traditional breakfast was really interesting. Not all things were to our liking. Natto for example was an acquired taste but overall it was really nice to try the genuine Japanese cuisine. The staff was also extremely helpful the day we checked out. My fiancée unfortunately had to go to the ER. The staff helped us to call the local hospitals to see which one was available and they also called for a taxi. We highly recommend this spa hotel."
