“The location and facilities of this gem are perfect for those wanting to get off grid and spend time enjoying the best of Montana. The cabin is rustic as described but the kitchen, shower, and outhouse facilities are convienient. Mike is a great host, very helpful and good for some great tips on fishing spots. Supplies are only about a few miles away if needed. A peaceful spot near some great fishing, I will be back!”

“This is a great place to stay while enjoying Rock Creek. The cabin is old but is well maintained and was very comfortable for two people. Brewster Creek runs right behind the cabin and the sound of the water was soothing to listen to at night. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils but some improvising may be required. Note that bath soap and shampoo are not provided, so you might want to bring your own. “The cabin was great! Cozy and just what we needed for a few nights. It's not anything fancy but it is warm and comfortable. The little bar that Mike built was great to play cards at. Check in was smooth as Mike met us and took us down to the cabin. The only thing that could be improved is the beds, they are not the most comfortable. Thanks for hosting Mike!”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Basin. Check-in was smooth, communication was clear and timely, and the cabin was comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The setting was peaceful and made for a perfect home base for our trip. Everything was just as described, and it was clear the hosts care deeply about the guest experience. “This was our first time "glamping". Having both grown up tenting it (or worse), we were prepared to rough it. Not the case! Super sweet hostess, the accomodations were roomy with a bed to die for. Although we didn't use the stove for more than heat and morning coffee, everything you could cook a meal easily with the implements made available. The views are breathtaking. We will be back to spend more than just one evening.”
