“We had another great stay at the Back Pond Cottage! We love its in-town location - less than a five-minute walk to restaurants, coffee shops and the marina. We stayed with another family - a total of five kids - so the quick walk to the marina made it easy to get out on our boat. Bonus - the marina offers free 3-hour public boat parking. And we enjoyed lots of great hiking at the GL Conference Center nearby. The kids especially loved the trek up to the top of Judson Tower for a birds-eye-view of...

“Cute, comfy cottage. Beds were comfortable, which for me, means soft. Firm beds hurt me, so I was happy. We had a nice relaxing time, and were able to make meals in the kitchen. Most of what you need for simple meals is available. We brought food in and grilled on the BBQ, though we did not find the grill brush until we were leaving (someone had left it on the back deck in an out of the way location). We did not end up using the kayaks, unfortunately. There were no life jackets that we could...

“We loved this location, close to town, nice fishing off the dock and all the amenities you need. We have 3 families, and each took a house/apt. It was great to have space with plenty of bathrooms, beds, tvs, kitchen. ”

“The house was amazing. The views of the lake and the sunsets were beautiful. The homeowner is super friendly. Great little town nearby with one of the best thrift stores I've ever been to. Even got to see an albino deer driving into town. The whole experience was really good. I would definitely rent this place again.”

“This is a unique cute property. They did a wonderful job at transforming a small business into a studio. They had complimentary snacks, coffee and tea. Very nice. They forgot the bathtub rug but had disposable slippers that worked well for getting out of the shower. The lights are a little wonky. It took me a bit to figure which switches are for which light. I finally found a light switch on the opposite wall of the door. I would definitely stay there again if I am able to go back next...

“Brenda’s place is a perfect location to unwind. We stayed here during the WI summer and spent most of the time on the deck and cooking in. The neighborhood was quiet and we would definitely visit again. ”
