“My dad and I stayed at this cabin for three days for a fishing trip. The cabin was charming, with a wonderful rustic feel, and it matched the description in the listing perfectly. We spent most of our time fishing, although the fish weren't biting much. That was fine, though; we were more interested in simply enjoying each other's company in the beautiful outdoor setting. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a lovely countryside setting.”

As we pulled in the first time, there were deer in front of the cabin and we thought they were fake at first because of how picturesque it was!The owners were wonderful with communication, and my husband, son and I had a wonderful time. “This house definitely comes with a love for family and the environment. Little notes from the owner and signs - the "hippie" ones are my favorite - to enjoy your stay whilst also giving nod to Mother Earth.The house is super clean and your backyard is the lake which is amazing. The house is not modern, the linens are fresh and clean but remnants of "another time" and so is all the decor... So if you're looking for upgraded this, and fancy that, this is not your place. “Property was very nice; some renovations going on but we were able to spread out and each have a private area to get some space. The pool was clean and nice and so was the hot tub! Upstairs was a bit hot, but the fans provided do help. Beds are comfortable. Lots of nice amenities included like a fully stocked kitchen. Game room was a fun addition, I wish we’d used it more! A unique property in a quiet and safe area.”

“Very private, large acreage property accommodates for the family dog and those who love nature! We spent most of the time outdoors by the fire and walking along the creek! It was very quiet and relaxing! Lots of shade courtesy of the black walnut trees, hillsides and the bluff running along the creek. We'll definitely be back!”
