“Great cabin very clean easy to find couldn't have asked for anything better.”

“I was in Ohio for a family reunion. The puppy could not stay at the lodge at Salt Fork, so I decided to stay at the cabin. I am easily overwhelmed by people and family is not excluded! Retreating to the cabin allowed me the serenity I needed.My only dislike were the unpaved roads. My car sits very low to the ground and the gravel did a number under my car. ”

“This lakefront house was absolutely amazing! Extremely clean. Well taken care of and just an overall very enjoyable place to relax and kick back. The communication with the property owners was prompt and quick I highly recommend renting this location. Very very secluded with beautiful scenery!! I will be renting it more often”

“This was a group of High School friends who have known each other for over 50 years. I've been in many rental properties and this is one of the best ever. We had great cookout and ate outside on the porch. Sunset followed by many stars and a beautiful, orange, full moon. We then retired in the awesome basement and played cars. A fantastic property.The only drawback is the fishing pond has excessive algae at times and prevents fishing.”

“Size was great for the two of us parking was easy 25 ft from the door and the cottage was very clean. Not a bad walk to downtown 12 minute walk to shops and restaurants.”

“My husband and I chose to stay at Valley View last year in order to be close to Cambridge to attend the Salt Fork Arts & Crafts Festival. It was not a hard decision to stay at Valley View again this year for the festival. This cute, comfy cabin has all we could want, and our hostess was communicative and gracious! We hope to come back a third time!”

“Everything was great. The owners were quick to respond and very helpful.”

“If you like a more secluded area, this house is GREAT! Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock, sitting on the porch that overlooked the pond, sitting in the hot tub near the pond, and playing games supplied by the homeowner. They really thought of everything! The owners were very easy to reach through text. We had a small issue the one night with the water, and he fixed it immediately. The wooded area that surrounded the house was beautiful. We saw deer and even a coyote one evening. ...

“The cabins are really great; clean, convenient, comfortable! We were apprehensive at first to share a community fire pit and have close neighbors, but we met some great people and surprised ourselves with how much we enjoyed the experience. The hosts are fantastic; helpful, communicative, eager to please. I would absolutely recommend a stay here, and will likely stay again ourselves in the future! Thank you, hosts! ”

Close to Tappan Lake and within walking distance of a wonderful General Store that has been in business for over 100 years…they make their own ice cream! So much fun and very relaxing.”

“Idyllic setting. Off the beaten path on a lovely country road. Behind the property are 12 acres of woods on a hill which was nice to enjoy sitting on the back porch. Tappan Lake is about 5 minutes or less away.”

“The cabin was clean, and the air conditioning great. It rained but the covered deck made it possible to sit outside and relish in the beautiful views of the river. We saw an eagle fly overhead and land in a tree across the river. Was quite surprised that there wasn't more wildlife. Spiders (brown recluse and others) and wasps were a bit of a nuisance, the deck and outside area could use a good sweeping. Overall...it was just what we needed, a nice place to kick back, relax and enjoy the...

“This property was super convenient for all of our local activities in Roscoe Village, Fresno and Baltic. It is indeed an older property, so you have to embrace that when staying here. The communication with the host was superb and the home had lots of amenities. If you are looking for a convenient and cozy old house to rent, this could be your place. Of note though, it was unexpectedly hot outside during our stay and the house had a hard time cooling the upstairs where the bedrooms are. Of...
