“This was a nice getaway close to all things in the Smokies. The tent is very well stocked and the host thought about everything for your stay. We only had to bring food :) The outdoor shower was pleasantly surprising in a good way. I was nervous about the outhouse setup but it was great minus the bugs! The only thing I wish was different was the access to the lake I wish it was more on the water but otherwise it was a great trip. The host was always available for questions and helpful! Thank...

“We had a wonderful time. Loved the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked. The king bed mattress was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on in all of our travels. Outdoor spaces including the grilling area were phenomenal. The shower and hot tub are awesome. We really enjoyed the fresh smell of pine wood inside the cabin. The cabin is very clean and well maintained. We’ve already booked a future stay at this same place.”

“We went on a family vacation to the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area. Douglas resort was quite and away from the tourist craziness. It was nice to come back and relax after exploring the area. The cabin had nice views and was the perfect size for our family of four. Our guest contact was available to answer our questions when we had issues and gave us a prompt answer. Quiet place. Lake was enjoyable to swim but it does have a rick bottom rather than clay so take wayer shies!”

“Everything as stated! Lake view was so pretty! Hot tub was very relaxing! Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, all good things!! Would stay here again! ”

“Very quaint and quiet place for a family getaway. They offered an early check in and were able to accommodate a later checkout after making sure reservations would not be impacted. The hot tub is leaking and the ac is not cooling, but I’m sure this will be addressed. The communication was great and the place was very clean and presented just like the listing pictures. Overall I would recommend and would visit again if needed. ”

“The cabin was clean and spacious. We had 6 adults in our party and never felt over crowded. The staff was friendly and quick to respond. The water level was low, therefore we could not enjoy the amenities of the dock or lake. But the hot tub was perfect for relaxing. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. We would stay again. ”
