“We were very well taken care of by the ladies of the Villa as well as by our driver and attentive manager. Their service and friendliness was excellent. We much enjoyed the beautiful garden and views of the Villa and to take a dip in the pool any time of day. That said, the Villa clearly needs some repair. ”

This is only the case if you are staying here for 7 or more days which is not mentioned in the VRBO listing. “This place was wonderful. We were 10 persons living in this villa during Christmas. It was enough of space for all of us and the bedrooms were better then we expected from the pictures. Ketut and Ilun cleaned the house for us and cocked our food every day that we liked, they also arranged different trips for us. They were always helpful to make our stay confortable. “Det var en mycket fin villa som hade två underbara hushållerskor som ordnade frukosten varje dag och dessutom om så önskades både lunch ock middag. Dom fina omgivningarna sköttes om en trädgårdsmästare tillika poolskötare. Säkerheten ombesörjdes av en nattvakt. Den enda nackdelen var att villan låg långt från butiker och restauranger vilket innebar att man skulle behöva ha tillgång till bil.”

“The Mawar exceeded my expectations for a lovely, chill, 3 weeks. Petu, the cook/laundress/house keeper, took her job seriously and ensured. the place incredibly clean. Her food was so very yummy that we never ate in a restaurant over the 3 weeks, I visited. She took delight in surprising me with treats and special extras that I had not idea were part of the experience, aka fresh fruit smoothies, poolside each afternoon. "Bästa hotellet vi har bott på. Fantastisk miljö där man bor i jättefina rum med utsikt över kaffeplantagen. Känns som att man bor mitt ute i regnskogen. Väldigt god mat och superbra service. Vår bokade taxi dök inte upp morgonen vi skulle lämna hotellet och då fixade dom en ny på bara några minuter för ett bättre pris trots att klockan var 6 på morgonen. Dom var duktiga och lyckades fånga upp att vi var där för att fira vår femårsdag och bjöd då på efterrätt och fixade till en fin hälsning i vårt rum med blommor och choklad. Överlag kändes dom väldigt genuina och omtänksamma. Finns mycket att se och göra bara på hotellområdet och dom har också bra utbud på utflykter i närområdet inklusive olika vattenfall. Spat var också super. Vi gjorde även en tur runt kaffeplantagen och fick lära oss kaffeprocessen. Kändes betydligt mer äkta och bättre än turistfällorna kring Ubud. Skulle definitivt rekommendera detta boende om man vill komma till en häftig och lugn oas av lyx borta från kaoset i turistorterna. "

"booked the resort due vibe and on the beach location. was not disappointed with location, super nice and relaxed. hotel is a good 3hours drive from airport(bali traffic is terrible) but once there its worth it. we got upgraded to a villa on the upper part. if possible thats where i want tobatay again . super nice area with an infinity pool and lots of greenery. hotel has good terms for workers with healthcare so feels like a decent place! I would stay again for sure..in the villa. its a bit far from shops etc butbtjey lend u a scooter or drive to the nearby village for some supermaket shopping if u want. no tourist infra or beachpeddllers around. the closest neighbour is a fishing village that u can see everyday working their boats. 1 advice, bring ur mosquito repellent as the bali mosquito are fierce :) "
