“We really enjoyed our stay. The house was really nicely furnished with a lot of natural light; cozy and comfortable.Howard was excellent to work with; questions, etc. were answered about as quick as we could ask them! A short, but fun trip! ”

“This house was perfect for our family get-a-way. Due to hot temps and thunderstorms we spent more time at the house than anticipated. It was great! We loved the hot tub, pool table, and the huge tv. The property is secluded, quiet and beautiful. My kids loved the neighboring sheep, they were pretty entertaining. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s a quick easy drive into downtown Galena. We all want to come back!”

“Place was way better than I expected. Larger than I thought or looked in pictures. Great area, great location, great small town in area. Loved the comfort of the place, and critters walking around; Turkeys, ground squirrels, rabbits amd blue birds outside below balcony. Great walking trails, guest /owner clubhouse and pools. BUT, Best of all is the GOLF courses, in the area, all will grab your attention, tough and great for all. Pricing is midlevel.”

“The villa itself was very nice, however the pool and gym room that we had access to was driving distance only. And although not very far, the roads are very winding roads. Easy to get there during the day but a little more challenging at night.”

“Place was very nice and clean, I didn’t want for anything that was not there accept olive oil… which led me to the Galena garlic company where I found all sorts of olive oils and other goodies. My mom loved hearing the birds chirping while enjoying the hot tub. Fried green tomatoes was a family hit!”

“We had a great time. It was a close drive to Galena and still secluded to feel like we had a private getaway. We had deer come to drink by the creek, and a nice area for a bond fire. The home was beautiful and the owners were really nice. We would definitely book again.”

“I stayed here for two nights on a girls getaway with my Mom, my Aunt and my teenage daughter. Derinda is a short but beautiful 20 minutes southeast from all the shopping and activities in Galena, nestled in the woods. Very peaceful, with room to relax and a local brewery with tasty offerings. The breakfasts were excellent and Sandy even called before we arrived to check for any food allergies! We would definitely stay here again.”

“Loved the location and access to the Territory Owners Club Amenities. Outdoor pool just steps away from house.This location is not for people whom have trouble using stairs as there are stairs to get to the front door and your car.( maybe 20 steps)This place could use a few extra bath towels. Otherwise it was a great stay.”
