“This property was perfect! We were located near all the things we wanted to do. Fishing, coffee shop, restaurants, church, park, and attractions. We walked down to the harbor park for the live music on Sunday evening. The house was immaculate and had all the extras that made our stay great, including nice cookwear! ”

“We were in town for our daughter's wedding at The Grain Loft, and our stay at Tim's home was wonderful. The views of the lake were stunning, and the sunsets were beautiful. My husband and friends enjoyed watching the fishing boats going in and coming out. The home was walkable to town. Perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay again. Tim was very quick to respond to messages.”

“We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“Stayed 10 nights and the house is fantastic! Spacious, clean, well stocked for meal prep needs! Two fridges came in handy for our family gathering. Area is great for morning walks, grill available for cookouts, beach chairs and bikes were used often. Would highly recommend and the host was incredibly responsive. ”

“It was peaceful and quiet. Reminded us of going up North as kids. Picked it to get away from the city and did not disappoint. ”

It was a beautiful place to relax on the beach and enjoy the sunshine.The bonfire pit was a great addition for us to enjoy. The cottage was clean and gave a perfect amount of space for the size of my family. We are definitely going to come back next summer!”

“Beautiful property overlooking water. Stunning sunset. We enjoyed watching wildlife. For Walks on the beach bring appropriate shoes. Dock a bit wobbly. Clean home. Note three rooms are for three people. Beds not the most comfortable and make noise when moving! They had a full septic tank, we bought more paper towels, tp. and towels to stay comfortably. Kitchen can be small with more than two cooks. Not enough chairs to sit around table and eat together. We enjoyed the patio/deck area for meals....

“Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand. We didn't swim that wasn't on our list to do but we did enjoy campfires and sunsets right on the beach. We saw eagles and pelicans and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the beach. “We had a nice family vacation here. We enjoyed the kayaks and peaceful time near the water. The kids had fun playing. The house was comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with cookware. We enjoyed watching the pelicans swim by, too. We appreciated the many little touches that made the place so comfortable. Would recommend!”

“The check in process was flawless and the owners could not be more accommodating. Everyone who we encountered engaged us with a friendly greeting and great conversation. This is a working ranch, so you will never feel isolated. I've been coming to Door County for years but learned more about the area from owner Steve during our short three night stay than I had in the last 35 years!”

“We really loved our stay at this property. It’s exactly what we were looking for. Property looks even better in person. It was super clean and cozy. My kids and I loved the house and the lake access (private beach). They want to go back every year:). It was a little chilly for July but that did not stop my kids from swimming in the lake. I would highly recommend this property. ”
