“Overall very pleased. Some good advice would be adding a table on top deck outside kitchen slider. Also more hooks or places to put luggage on and hang towels. Outside deck has screws not all screwed in and can rip open bottom of feet if not fixed. Did have enough towels and sheets and all appliances with utensils which was great. ”

“We LOVED this place! Its everything you need in a place to stay in Door County. Large clean rooms, our son had his own room and views are amazing. Both pools super clean, and the chairs in the main lawn are perfect to watch the sunset and catch a tan. We will be coming back here! Worth every penny. ”

“We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“The view is amazing! The accommodations could use a little bit of work. The water is an issue. It does smell awful and you cannot drink it. The listing is misleading. It states there is a spa tub and there is not. With a little bit of effort this could be an amazing place. Our stay way good overall. I just wouldn’t stay here again.”

“We had a great time at Andropolis with my intergenerational family. No complaints about the beds, the cottages are in good condition and very clean, and all as pictured. The property leading down to the shore is stunning and leads to perfect sunsets on the horizon of Lake Michigan. The host was more than accommodating, going out of his way to make sure all the amenities were fully supplied for our stay. We saw other guests occasionally, but only from afar. “I took my wife and in-laws here for the holiday weekend and out stay was amazing (with the dog as well). Our host and his partner were nothing short of helpful and accommodating. The place has a beautiful sandy beach for all of us to enjoy and offered us peace and quiet away from the busier towns in Door County. The house is dated but the pictures and listing are 100% accurate. We weren’t there for the home but the ambiance and location, which were amazing. Would definitely stay here again next...

“Beautiful property overlooking water. Stunning sunset. We enjoyed watching wildlife. For Walks on the beach bring appropriate shoes. Dock a bit wobbly. Clean home. Note three rooms are for three people. Beds not the most comfortable and make noise when moving! They had a full septic tank, we bought more paper towels, tp. and towels to stay comfortably. Kitchen can be small with more than two cooks. Not enough chairs to sit around table and eat together. We enjoyed the patio/deck area for meals....
