“The house worked well for our group - two couples and three kiddos. It had everything we needed for cooking in and all the spaces to relax in and out. We rented a pontoon boat which we appreciated docking at the rental for making exploring voyageurs national park easy. We really enjoyed the trip and the cabin was great! ”

“Steve was a great host and the unit is small but great for 6 people- great for an area where our goal was to spend lots of time outside. Very close to Rainy Lake Visitors Center in Voyageurs and on the shores of Rainy Lake itself. We used the fire pit on the property for s'mores. Steve is very communicative, responsive to requests, and also has recommendations for area activities and dining.”

“EVERYONE SHOULD STAY HERE!!!! This is a fantastic resort and motel to stay at - great owners - property is very nice - sit outside and look at the Rainey River and CANADA! We had a small cabin - just like a retro-vacation cabin - had a little kitchen + Outdoor BBQ grill. Nice inside living area and 2 bedrooms - we had plenty of room and really enjoyed this cabin! And the PRICE - was FABULOUS - very value-friendly. We RECOMMEND this to everyone.”

“I booked this as a last minute getaway weekend for me and my dog and I am so glad I did! Everything was exactly as listed, such a cute cabin on a lovely little lake. Nice and secluded but not too isolated, it’s perfect! The owner was super responsive via messaging and left plenty of detailed information about the stay/area that was easy to access. “We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cabin is cozy but spacious enough for a family with plenty of sleeping & sitting/ lounging space. The cabin is clean and comes with many nice amenities- books, movies, games, anything you would need for kitchen & bathroom, plenty of blankets and pillows, etc. Quick responses to any questions. Right on the lake- plenty of room to park. We would definitely stay here again!”
