“This hotel is surrounded by and built on marshland and has a lot of mosquitos all over the place.
Upon arrival the reception did not give out the room I booked so be alert and don't be fooled to get a cheaper room you once payed for.
The little breakfast area was quite nice with polite staff even if the breakfast itself was poor. Even the small pool area was pretty nice but not the swimming pool which wasn't cleaned.
The best part of the visit was the beach club with sunbeds close to the...

Gracias”

“The suite was very nice and clean, however we found it to be poorly stocked. It had all the essentials, but only 2 thin pillows, and minimal kitchen items, we often had to borrow things from neighbors (wine bottle opener). The only other issue we had was running out of hot water very shortly after starting the shower. Proximity to the beach is wonderful, and the balconies were very nice. We also found that the grounds could have been kept a bit nicer, (debris, weeds etc), but things were still...

“We were on a family vacation with 10 people from 29-71. Everyone enjoyed the accommodations, pool, and location. Our local contact Paulina was very helpful, met us at the property upon check and helped arrange an early morning taxi ride back to the ferry dock. If we visit Holbox again we will certainly look at staying at Casa Milu.”

“This is an outstanding loft. Very economical, well-designed, nicely decorated, and has the best hammock ever. Very well stocked and modern. We loved Karina; she was the best aspect of the stay. She even found a local fisherman to fish with my teen son for hours a day. She answered a hundred questions and gave excellent suggestions. She problem solved and arranged any need we had—golf carts, beach side massages, atm location, and best sushi recs! We adored her. I travel often and far and she is...

“Host was very attentive and helpful (arranged taxi, early cleaning). Unit and grounds are nice and quiet.
Downsides: badly damaged kitchen tiles, king bed had queen-size sheet and only two pillows, initially short on towels, two beach towels smelled, and the location is far from the city/not walkable—we spent over $120 USD on taxis.
Good service, but unit needs better maintenance and clearer location expectations.
