“The property in in Gatineau Park, on Meech Lake. The house itself is immaculate! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. Amid beautiful reclaimed wood decor, there was also a Huge Gas range. Dining room, living room and TV loft were excellent. “We only used the place to sleep at night and make dinner the night we arrived. There is plenty of space and the kitchen was quite well equipped. We did not try out the dock as we had family about 5min away on the lake. When the A/C stopped working they were very quick to answer and help resolve it (it was just a breaker so easily fixed). "Nice central location but other than that not a great stay. You can see into the other bedroom next to yours. Kitchen wasn't cleaned so there was still some rice left in the pot from the previous guest. The kitchen tools were blunt and the non stick frying pan overused and had lost it's "non stick" coating. There was no mat for the shoes so there after a day out there was gravel all over the floor. But the worst part is that we arrived one day late due to a snowstorm. Sonder made no effort to make up for the extra day we had to pay for. Albeit in their cancellation policy, I would argue that it's common decency not to take a full charge when your guest is stuck on a train for 20 hours."
