“To be honest, I pretty much just slept here at night I didn’t do much else. The listing is perfectly accurate, so you should know exactly what you’re getting. The porch swing and view of the Mississippi, especially at night, is incredible.”

“This is a great place with a beautiful view! It has everything you need for cooking and serving! The place was very clean and neat. The young people loved the pool. The only problem we had was several hornets nests, which caused three little kids to get stung. We bought spray and sprayed the nests.”

“It was very cozy and well stocked and organized as well! Neat experience to stay in a historic home like this! ”

“Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. ”

“Girls weekend, fun at festival, easy to load and unload, great directions, clean and very well decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed! Great place to have breakfast and relax at the end of a busy day. ”

“The name is spot on - hideaway. Our family enjoyed a week here. So wonderful to get back to nature! Will book again for sure. The home is well appointed. The bug and sun sprays at the exits were wonderful as we forgot ours. The only thing I wished I had done was look to see what brand the king mattress in the downstairs was. I hadn't slept so good in yearsyears. ”

“We used Hannibal as a halfway meeting point with friends to hang out, visit, and have fun. The only drawback is one small bathroom to shower. Otherwise, all was GREAT. We knew about the bathroom before we booked soooo....”

“Worked amazing for our entire group while working in Hannibal for the month. Had everything readily available for check in, tons of supplies and fully stocked kitchen. Made for a great home away from home monthly stay for us all . Plenty of room for our entire group. ”

“This property is super cute, cozy, and clean. The rooms are spacious and the host was excellent. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. I will be staying here in the future when I’m in town. ”
