“We stayed here for 1 night with 3 kids ages 11, 4, and 1. The room was very thoughtfully laid out. Loved having a separate sitting area and a full kitchen. Everything was very clean. Loved that there was no carpet, and there were mattess protectors on the mattresses. For the price, this was an unbelievable value. Only constructive comments would be they need to deep clean the floors (kids feet were black after running barefoot), and some dish soap for the kitchen sink would be a nice option....

“We had a fantastic time in Waco at this B&B. It was a cute house with very comfortable beds and dinning room. It was within walking distance to downtown and to the Brazos river. I highly recommend this place.”

“This ranch is located in the middle of nowhere outside of Waco. They don’t offer any food or beverages so you have to make sure to bring it yourself or drive 20-30 minutes to nearest restaurant. The ranch itself was very pretty with all the animals and scenery. However, the room smelled like mold, there was a mushroom growing in the shower and a hole in the shower roof which looked like it will cave at any moment. ”

“We went to Waco for our first time, visited Cameron park, Mammoth Museum, Magnolia Mkt and a few local eateries. Steel Magnolia was very cute, clean, comfortable, quiet & conveniently located. The hostess was very responsive with a couple issues. They do need to fix the hot water pressure for the kitchen sink and mow the lawn to make it a real 5-Star experience.”

“Very nice quiet and clean”

“very nice place! clean, well appointed, just a few minutes from the university (Law School Graduation) loved the coffee bar and the availability of recycling! lots of cooking dishes, beds were nice. I'd just mention that the neighborhood looks a little sketchy but we had no problems at all not even noise! WIFI was intermittent we assumed due to the recent storms, but no big deal! LOVED YOUR PLACE!! If we are ever in Waco your place would be our first choice!! ”

“Great stay woth another family, our kids were shooting in the regional championships 15.min away. It was great to be able to spend time there between events.Loved that it was in a great location close to plenty of things to do within walking distance.”

“This property was so cute and cozy! Accommodations were represented accurately. We had an issue with the ice maker but the property manager had a bag of ice to us in about 30 minutes! Cleaning company needs to check the shower dispenser more often but we had our own shampoo and soap so we were fine. We were in a good location and close to the attractions we wanted to see. We would definitely stay here again!!! ”

Don't sleep here when the backyard has a live perf

"Don't sleep here, at least not on a Saturday. The rooms were good but our room faced some that played incredibly loud music until 2 in the morning so we didn't sleep well, which is the point of a hotel. They could have warned us, given us earplugs, another room and or compensation. No one should fool me that they didn't know anything. Apparently Backyard has gigs every Saturday."
