“Wonderful, quiet little house right on the water. The water was beautiful, but really pretty at night with all the lights. Kitchen is very well equipped and the owner is excellent at returning messages and assisting in any difficulties. Our two young granddaughters loved the tiny sandy beach right out the back door! Very clean.”

“We absolutely loved our recent stay at this place! It was cozy, clean, and very well-priced. The host was warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive throughout our stay. The outdoor area was lovely – a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. One of the highlights for us was the beautiful lake and having access to kayaks, which was such a great bonus. Everything was just right, and we’d definitely love to come back again!”

“This was a clean, comfortable space in the perfect location. It was walkable to campus, downtown, and nearby to my favorite cafes, bookstores, and shops. I was able to cook in the kitchenette and relax in a way that was more homey than a hotel, and didn't need a car to get around. The Ann Arbor Fall Festival was steps away. Touring the Big House was a highlight of our weekend!”

“What an adorable tree house! Would definitely stay here again for a short stay. Be aware, if you need the full bathroom/shower, it is in the hosts private residence, upstairs. We thought it would be more secluded, like in their house but away from their living spaces, but it was down the hall near their bedrooms. It was fine, we just weren’t comfortable invading their private space that much so we didn’t use it. Still, wonderful host, very comfortable, cozy, and unique experience. The kids...

“Wonderful whimsical weekend stay. We felt like we'd landed at Hagrids Hut, surrounded by the forbidden forest. 10 out of 10 highly recommend for somw off grid shenanigans. Beautiful marked trails to explore through old wood growth and marshlands with wildlife galore.”

“We loved our stay! It was the perfect location as we were visiting my son who goes to Umich. Walking distance to great restaurants and the amazing blank skate creamery is right across the street! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay again when we go back to A2. ”
