It’s in the mountains, quiet, authentic and peaceful, yet close to Lucca, 10 minutes to the closest supermarket. Great gardens around the house, which are very well maintained. Everything you need was there. large yard, good barbecue area, good social room, the pool was clean and looked after every day by a pool guy. 3 min drive from cozy montecarlo, lots of restaurants. grocery stores nearby. Der Blick in die Berge ist atemberaubend! Der Pool ist klein, aber für uns war er völlig ausreichend. Innen gab es nur 4 Stühle, so dass wir am Regentag noch 2 Sessel aus dem Wohnzimmer holen mussten. Das könnte noch verbessert werden. “Lorenzo our host generously provided a list of local eateries and directions to the nearest shops for basics.The property itself was clean, well-equipped and in a great location from which to stroll round the streets of Lucca or explore further afield.The sound from the music school which is adjacent to the flat takes a bit of getting used to, but not unpleasant.The flat is attractive, welcoming, if a bit dark inside, but the wee outdoor space is a bonus.
