“Having just got home from a long road trip, this was a pleasant surprise. Having restored a 100-year-old house. I can appreciate everything that has been done to the structure. The only thing I have to say is that is missing a bottle opener for wine and the can opener does not work. Other than that a very nice house in a very nice location”

“The owners were right on top of everything before we even arrived. The hidden gem is so adorable and came with everything we needed. The trailer was much bigger than expected and is located in a secluded spot with quite a beautiful view from the front of the trailer. We were on a short trip but I would definitely go back and stay longer.Thanks for sharing your trailer with us.”

“Although you can’t access the river from the property, the sound of the running water is soothing. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Super clean home. All the necessary amenities. Navigating the switchbacks of the driveway were challenging at night but that was my own fault for arriving late. I had some problems accessing the check in information link because apparently VRBO disables links. I never WAS able to access the link but the host was immediately responsive to any questions/ issues...

“Our time at Eastwood Escape was an excellent adventure! It had everything that was listed on the online listing--and more! Along with splendid indoor accommodations, we enjoyed hanging out for stargazing and outdoor dining on the spacious deck/balconi! The location was convenient to our adventures at Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks!”

“This property is amazing! Enough room for 11 of us, all rooms and bathrooms are nicely updated and decorated, and the outside views are spectacular! The host is very nice and responds to messages very quick. And my personal favorite - no neighbors as far as the eye can see. We would absolutely stay there again!”

“This unit was good overall. In a small town a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that was clear when booking the property. Very clean, as pictured, good amenities for a small unit. Perfect for a night or two. Only downfall is this suite is connected to the main house and there is no noise cancellation between the 2 spaces, so you hear everything going on in the main house. The hosts were not loud, you could just hear daily living. Hosts were great with communication and we enjoyed our stay!”

“This was the perfect spot for a family getaway for 3 generations. There is a huge amount of space, not just the bedrooms but several patios for lounging. The pool was so refreshing and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It has everything you might need and more, pure comfort.”

“This a very comfortable and well maintained accommodation in a lovely and quiet setting. Although it’s a duplex, it’s situated in a way that affords a lot of privacy. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the communicate well with clients to make sure their needs are met. We enjoyed our stay very much. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Eagles Nest. Everything was lovely. The house is really cozy and comfortable, the hot tub was excellent and the location and view of the river behind the house were also great! I highly recommend it. We would book it again for sure on our next visit. ”

The Oakhurst Inn at Yosemite

6/10 Okej

"Overall a good place, although somewhat pricey (as most places close to Yosemite). However, a big negative was that the use of plastic cutlery and paper plates at breakfast. All of which went into the trash afterwards. That's really not sustainable and quite the opposite from the aura of Yosemite!"
