“The Islands Resort was ok. Beautiful golf course, clean common spaces, very friendly staff. The room we stayed in was clean, but very outdated and had paint chipping off the walls. We knew the spa was closed prior to coming. We did not know that their upscale restaurant was also closed prior to coming. We ate at the bar and grill the first night, which was fine, but typical bar food. We planned on a nice dinner the following night only to find out it was closed. The bar food was too greasy for...

“Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured....

“This is a beautiful house and property, located in a quiet location. The house was clean and had everything we needed to host a small family gathering. The lake was a bit weedy so not ideal for swimming or fishing from the pier, but the kayaks allowed us to get out on the lake. We also enjoyed the ping pong table and fire pit. Renee was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this property!”
