“The cabin was what we expected: clean, charming decorations, kitchen had supplies for cooking and cleaning: dishes, utensils, soap, salt & pepper, coffee, drinking water and water for washing. Also had plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates. The outhouse wasn’t that bad. Nice, secluded fire pit area with grates, roasting sticks and a tripod for outdoor cooking. Lawn chairs in the shed (outhouse.) Right off the highway but feels like you’re in the woods. ”

“Beautiful location in Sturgein Bay. Close to town & walkable to a public beach and many attractions and shops a clise drive to even more options for shopping and eating. The view of the bay, islands & penninsulas makes me realize how special my ancestors must have felt when founding Door County. ”

“Clean and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and a great view. Good indoor or outdoor pools as well as several other activity areas for children. Lighted pathways that are easy to travel. A condo unit that was well stocked, very nice, and comfortable. Friendly staff and easy check in/check out.”

“Having never stayed at the Waterbury we didn't know what to expect but ended up enjoying our stay there. The hotel overall is kept clean. The 2 bedroom loft plus pullout bed provided decent room for 5 of us, including 3 adult children. The grill and gas fire pit with seating area out front is very nice. Both pools (indoor/outdoor) and hottub were clean and provided an enjoy spot to spend time in the water. The grounds of the resort are maintained very well too. Only the landscape islands...

“It was peaceful and quiet. Reminded us of going up North as kids. Picked it to get away from the city and did not disappoint. ”

“We all had a wonderful time, it is in a great location. Perfect place to relax! We had two older teen boys with us and even they had a great time! They lived in the kayaks, they fished from them and also from the dock. We all enjoyed the game room and yard games. The coffee bar was a nice little perk, especially on the chilly mornings. My husband and I took a bike ride around the neighborhood and everyone was so friendly. We would absolutely recommend the Lake Haus!”

“We stayed for a girls weekend and this place was perfect! Well stocked with everything that could be needed and very clean. Very conveniently located while also quiet and private. Would definitely love to stay here again in the future! ”

“The area was beautiful and there were fun restaurants and a winery nearby. The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with most things anyone might need while away from home. We had some fun with the kayaks and trying out one of the paddle boards.”

“Its a small but comfy house. Clean and well kept. It had what we needed. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you need but bring all spices, sugars and condiments. The best part is you walk out the back door and 20 feet away is the beach. Easy to get to, no stones, all sand. We didn't swim that wasn't on our list to do but we did enjoy campfires and sunsets right on the beach. We saw eagles and pelicans and we enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the beach. “The home is gorgeous inside with stellar lake views; the only logistical issues are with missing silverware - not enough for a full complement of guests. We cooked often, made use of the charcoal grill, went canoeing with an assist carrying from one of the neighboring houses and bought firewood from a nearby stand but never did get out to light one.
